Clear Morning is built around a simple promise: your morning is yours. We don't collect, sell, or share your data.

Summary

We don't collect any personal information.
We don't use analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.
Your settings and app selections never leave your device.
We don't have user accounts or servers that store your data.

Data we don't collect

Clear Morning does not collect, transmit, or store any personally identifiable information. There are no analytics, no crash reporting services, no advertising identifiers, and no third-party SDKs that track you.

Data stored on your device

To function, Clear Morning saves the following on your device only:

Your morning protection settings (such as protection duration).
The app categories or specific apps you've chosen to quiet, stored as an opaque token provided by Apple's Screen Time framework. We never see the names of those apps.
Local timestamps used to schedule and unlock notifications.

This data is stored using Apple's standard UserDefaults (App Group) container and remains on your device. It is not synced to iCloud by Clear Morning, never sent to any server, and is removed if you delete the app.

Permissions we request

Screen Time / Family Controls. Required to silence the apps you choose during your morning window. Apple's framework returns an anonymous token — Clear Morning never sees which apps you selected.
Notifications. Required to deliver your silent morning reminders. All notifications are scheduled and delivered locally on your device.

Third-party services

Clear Morning does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, marketing, or tracking services. The app uses only Apple's first-party frameworks.

Children's privacy

Clear Morning does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children under 13. If used by a minor, no information is transmitted to us.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and post the new version at this URL. Material changes will be reflected in future App Store updates.
